Art Classes for Senior Teens and Adults
At Rang Diya Art Classes for teens and adults, we provide a full range of art classes for people who wish to explore their creative potential, learn new skills, develop visual awareness, and deepen their understanding of art processes and techniques through various media such as oil-colours, acrylics, water-colours, pastels, graphite, charcoal, and all the drawing media.
With tuition given on an individual basis and related to each person’s abilities in their chosen medium, students will be encouraged to develop their awareness and sensitivity to light, tone, colour, and texture. This will expose them to the technical knowledge required to complete a painting using a wide variety of subject matter of their choosing, including still-life, landscapes, figurative, etc., leading to an increased observational skill and confidence in their approach to, and use of drawing and painting applications.
It is such an incredible thrill to engage with any of the mediums and create almost magically something from nothing, to start with a blank canvas or paper and finish with a completed drawing or painting. Drawing and painting open up a whole new world, one full of colour, excitement, and drama. Not only will you end up with finished artwork to display on your own walls, but pieces that you can gift to others or maybe even sell. It is also an excellent way to reduce stress and improve general well-being and personal development.
Our art classes cater to all levels, from beginner to advanced abilities. Our teachers are all professional artists with many years of experience, thus giving them a wealth of knowledge to help you unlock your creative gift and learn successfully.
All our art classes take place on a continuous all-year-round basis. One can join the classes at any time of the year once there is a vacancy.
Fee Options
The payment options of the teen and adult classes are based on the location. The Wednesday evening class at Susan Herlihy Ceramics has 4-class and 8-class payment options. All the other classes (in Mogeely) have a PAYG and 8-class payment option. We strongly recommend 8-class payment to let yourself fully immerse in the creative process. Additionally, it proves to be a more economical choice compared to purchasing just 4 classes.
Supplies
I’m all about making your art experience as comfortable as possible! Feel free to bring your own supplies, and if you need a list of what’s best to bring, I have collated my recommendations here. If you need more information, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message.
For students starting acrylic medium, I can provide a tailor-made starter kit for a payment of 64 Euros. This contains set of essential colours, few large tubes of important colours not in the set, sets of round and flat brushes, colour palette and 4 canvas sheets. This is a great option economically.
For Classes in Mogeely only, if you’re not stocked up yet – we’ve got you covered! We can hook you up with supplies on a pay-as-you-go basis for 12 Euros each session.
